Lili of the Valley - DT Challenge

Look at me! Two posts in one day.
One of my best friends Lisa told me about an awesome new company, Lili of the Valley. They are based in the UK and have some GORGEOUS stuff. Though I didn't have time to pick up a large supply of their images, I managed to get my hands on enough to put together a card, using the following sketch by Donalda.
I used papers from the Paper Studio. The flowers are from Imaginisce. The buttons ... your guess is as good as mine on where they came from ;) The brads are brown with icing from Doodlebug. The Miss You and cat face stamps are from The Angel Company. I inked everything with my colorbox fluid chalk Chesnut Roan. And, of course, the main image is from Lili of the Valley.
This was a fun sketch to follow. I am just never sure exactly how close I'm supposed to stay to a sketch. I tried to stay pretty true to the sketch, but my own balance asserted itself with more squares for the sentiment instead of the strips. I originally had a much larger circle behind the kitty, but again, wanted to have it close to the original.
Maybe once I win a challenge or get chosen to be on a design team I'll have a little more faith in myself, my creativity, my designs, etc. I really truly hope that is the case (because I'm feeling a little down about my skillzzzz lately) !!

I think it turned out really cute. Using the cat head stamp to make "patterned paper" was really a good idea!
