Thank YOU fairy much!
This is a thank-you to Emily at Stamping Bella, and all the other awesome stamp companies out there, and the dedicated rock-stars who run challenge blogs, and all my blogville friends...
So thank you girls (and guys) for inspiring me. Bellas were the first stamps that I realllly got on to using, and I'm really in love with the new Ketto line. This one was actually stamped off for me by my good friend LISA.
So, I was totally rockin' last night and this card hit 4 challenges. I'm all puffed up over myself on that one.
1. HERE - Bellarific Sketch
2. HERE - MOJO Sketch
*** Believe it or not, these two sketches were quite similar. Just a teensy bit of tweaking and I think I made something a little original that still looks like I could have come from either/both sketch - and it totally did!
3. HERE - Copics Colour challenge - (the list was RV11, Y06, E39... I didn't have all three of those. I used RV10, Y06 for the clothes and wings (also some iridescent stickles on top of the RV10 for the wings). I used RV21 and E00 for skin. I used E37 for the shoes and hair. I used YG23 for the flower leaves. I used the gold spica and RV10 for the crown. And I incorporated a button onto my stamp - covering the flower in her hand (to hit the button requirement below).
4. HERE - FUNKY FAIRY recipe challenge (1 ribbon, 2 flowers, 3 buttons, 4 patterned papers) I used the pink striped ribbon, 2 primas, 3 buttons - 1 in/on the stamp and 2 as flower centers - and I used 3 papers from the 'Just a Bit' kit and 1 paper from 'Distressed vol. 5' kit.
Whew. I know I've said it before, but it is so much extra fun for me to combine challenges. I feel like I'm accomplishing so much, plus I really truly think it kind of 'forces' me to totally go all the way with my cards. Before I started the challenge stuff, my cards were so boring and pitiful. I think they've really come a long way, and it's been a very fun journey. Thank you all for being part of it. Golly, I'm sure full of thanks today... better than being full of something else, yah?
