The requirement for the challenge: stitch something, use a magnolia stamp...
I started with a stitched HEART! I cut out 2x2 squares out of the gorjuss grid Funky Fairy paper (go shop HERE) and stuck them to a piece of paper, then stitched all the seams with my Janome Sew Mini (love this thing!). Then I cut out a big huge heart to give it some dimension and interest. The card base and the mat for Edwin are from the Funky Fairy Distressed Volume 5 set. I silhouetted the top of Edwin's balloon so that he wasn't so much bigger than the heart. Added some ribbon and a nestie (labels) die cut of a TAC sentiment, and bob's your uncle! (Well, you have a cute birthday card anyhow~)
Also, did you notice the little wooden stand? A new purchase I picked up at Michael's yesterday. I got a wooden stand and a clear one to help with showcasing/photographing my cards and other pretties. It wasn't too expensive and I think it works well and looks pretty too :D
ENJOY~ (even if it *IS* a Monday, you should like my card...)
