Lottie Misses You

Can I just say how much I LOVE digital stamps? By the way, you need to go buy some of these. Go to THIS website and get some. Get Crackalackin! Go!

Can I say how much I LOVE dew drops? How much I love these Basic Grey papers (from the Porcelain collection)?

Okay - so I found the adorable sketch here (4/1 post). They also suggested flowers... I chose to take the strip in the middle out (honestly, I couldn't decide which ribbon to use) and make it a strip of flowers - and of course the little primas needed some bling, yeah? The gems in these flowers were actually in the craft section at walmart in a HUGE package (like 300 tiny adhesive gems for around $2 - in clear and pink both).

The color scheme was inspired by the color challenge on this blog (#8, 4/8 post). If you know me, you know I *ADORE* my copic markers. (You could look back in my posts and find the post where I made my own binder so that my markers can be organized AND portable - which is not easy since I have over 100 now.) They said to use RV29 crimson, E57 walnut, and YG67 moss. The hair, belt and shoes are walnut (the hair is also E35chamois - and a white gel pen for a highlight in there). The bibs are YG67, which I also rubbed the blender pen over to soften it up and make the bibs look lived in. The bottons and heart are in crimson. I typically think of this more as a reddish color, but in this scheme, I thought it was accentuated nicely with the pinkish and green papers. The other copics I used, E00 skin white, and RV10pale pink for the blush on her cheeks.

This paper I picked up in St. Louis at Archivers when Lisa and I went on our little shopping spree. This GORGEOUS stamp is in the Lottie collection at Grab-a-Doodle-Do. The sentiment stamp is from MFT. Oh, the pink/crimson base is PaperTrey, and so is the nice brown.

Hmmm... I think that's all I've got.

enjoy - or I'll sikkkk the little ole NY lady on you (with her knitting needles and her handbag!)
