Gardens are like Friends

I have a sickness... it is combining challenges. I was thinking last night that I really hope that it doesn't make people mad when I combine challenges. I pulled this from 3 places.

Here is the card:

Here is the inside:

The idea for the "theme" is from MFT Idol~! (You can find out about in on SCS.) This week - the actual contestants were supposed to use a new set they received. All about "build a boquet" or some such thing ... except I don't have that set. At first I thought I'd make a crappy dead little "garden" and say that I needed some help from the MFT folks to help my garden grow. I also thought about having flopsy on his knees tending his flowers, but I couldn't get that to look right either. So, I finally decided that he should lay back and rest for a minute.

The papers are from the Pink Armadillo stack (the Paper Studio). The tree stamp is from Autumn Leaves. The flowers are from See-D's. Embies: dew drops - my new favorite thing, and the primas too. I was going to put some ribbon on there, but the glittery paper made me darn happy.

I got the sketch from this killer blog. The beautiful color combination came from this blog.

I did some masking, some sponging, some reverse masking, some coloring with copics...
