We thought that we had to mark this occasion & celebrate with a "Funky Fairy" party . . . or a blog hop in this instance! Now the theme this week over on the Challenge Blog is "Case It". This simply means that we have been looking at each others fab projects and choosing one to "CASE" (case is an acronym for Copy And Share Everything) so you create a project using someone else's work as your inspiration but do not need to copy it exactly.
Well as you can imagine all the DT members got involved & have pulled "a blinder" this week and if you follow the blog hop you will see all their brilliant projects. Here is my project . . .

I cased the card by Lulu for THIS challenge. I loved the colors and the ribbons with the centerpiece. I tried to use the brown and pinks she used. I chose to use papers from the Cupcake Crazy kit, and an image I colored from the same kit. (I colored with copics and "iced" with some stickles.) I didn't have the awesome curlicue thing that Lou used, so I did my sentiment differently and added two hearts (though hers were hanging). I'm afraid my card is a poor CASE, but it turned out ok.
Anyhow, do the hoppy thing, do the shoppy thing, and have a lovely day.
(ps - I'm going to attempt to turn on comment moderation... for hop purposes)

This is so CUTE! That background paper is terrific! I am staring to like cupcakes more and more, I think. LOL!
