Funky Frame!

Please take an extra second to click on this picture and see it a little closer up!

I had such a good time with this project!! I used two of the "volume" kits from the Funky Fairy - go go go shopping right HERE. I used papers from the Gorjuss Grids and the Dainty Dots collections. These two collections are HUGE! They are in EVERY color of the rainbow!! Also, on the dots collection - the dots are in black AND white on every color.
I printed out the papers in small bits and then trimmed out 2 inch squares. I used a small amount of adhesive and attached them to a piece of white cardstock so they wouldn't wiggle a whole lot. Then I put the whole thing through the sewing machine to put a fun spin on it and bring it all together, etc. I used some graduating flower punches and a dewdrop to adorn each corner. I used a fun wooly fiber to outline (inline?) the inside of the heart. This was partially to hold all the uneven bits and edges where I trimmed the heart out, and partially just to separate your photo from the frame. I tried to choose some neutral fun colors (red, orange, yellow, green) that would work with boys or girls ... big kids or little kids ...
ENJOY!!

Wow! Really pretty! Is it a picture frame? That's lots of sewing. My stitches would NEVER be that straight :0) Great job!

Wow that is really pretty! I wonder if you could crop them in software and lay it out then print and sew it? It wouldnt have as much nice texture but it would be a great time saver! We just got back from NH tonight, I know what you mean about being behind, I'm so glad I scheduled my blog posts through tomorrow so I can relax;)
