What is more fun than playing with new images? (Well, buying more of course, but playing with a brand new stamp is still lots and lots of fun!)
This is one of my new stamps from Sugar Nellie. It is a Leanne Ellis design, called Teddy Too. (Or was that Teddy Two...?)
The papers are from an awesome set - DCWV 'Latte' - I love buying mat stacks to use for cards! I like buying stacks anyway (makes coordinating soooooooo much easier) but mat stacks and the 6x6 and 8x8 stacks are all so wonderful for cardmaking!!
Anyhow! This card was inspired by this, this, and this. (A sketch, a happy card, and a round theme.) I stayed relatively true to the sketch - except I used a circle for the image instead of a rectangle. Oh, I also got to use my new tool - a ribbon slot punchy thing... (aren't I great at remembering the names of things?) I kind of tossed the packaging already, but it's made by Making Memories. It punches these neat little slots in things so you can slide them onto ribbon or whatever.
I thought this image would be pretty versatile... love, anniversary, friends, etc. Plus, who can resist a teddy bear, right?
enjoy

Awww, so cute!
You know, I didn'y like the latte paper but I've seen so many people do great things with it (your card included) that I may have to add it to my ever expanding paper collection!
Cute card! I see you bought the MM slot punch kit. I love mine. Coincidentally, I used mine on the card that's posted on my blog today! LOL. It is a handy little thing.
