This card may not seem exactly like a mother's day card, but I promise it is. (As soon as I finished photographing it, I put it in the envelope with Grandma's other surprises to mail it!) On the inside I wrote that we've got 'bags of love' -- she likes funny cards, but I just haven't been feeling the humor bug lately.
This card was inspired by three challenges. I hope none of them require that you don't combine challenges, but if they do, then I guess I won't be winning their prizes :(
1. Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #66 - a sketch.
2. Cute Card Thursday challenge - use something shiny.
3. Our Creative Corner 6 challenge - something for a special mom.
So, I stayed pretty close with the sketch. I used papers from the BasicGrey "eva" collection. (So darn pretty!) I left a border with the white base around the edges. Instead of circles around the top corner, I used flowers (I also flipped them). From the sketch, it looked like the piece of accent paper was cut into two pieces, but instead I broke it up with a cute ribbon and knot. I also blinged the bottom edge with a cool shiny border! Colored with copics, and I used dewdrops and a jewel for the flower centers.
ENJOY! (And if you're a mom, I've got bags of love for you too *KISS*!!!!!!)
