Warmest Wishes

This card was really fun to make!

This card really came together quite well! At first I was inspired by this sketch. So I chose this beautiful Rachel Anne Miller stamp that Lisa stamped for me. I was trying to decide if I wanted to try to pull in any other challenges, and I remembered that I'd seen a fun new (to me) challenge blog. The theme was "G is for Glitter" on ABC challenges blog. Lovely - the ice they are skating on ought to be sparkly - and so it was with the icicle stickles! The final challenge I decided to try to meet here was the biggie. I read about it on Tracy's blog -- but the actual challenge was on the All That Scraps forum. They wanted WHITE ON WHITE !!! No color - except for the color on the focal image!

I thought to use different embossing on each piece of cardstock to give them definition. I used the heart embossing folder for one piece for the young love, the paisleys - well, come on - it's paisley!!!!!!!!!!! I put the bubbles one behind the kids - in my mind it was sort of snowy. In the sketch, there appeared to be another piece of paper along the bottom -- I had this awesome gauzy ribbon with white paint splotches on it -- yay more snowy-type effects. The ribbon and knot, the gems, and I just stamped the TAC sentiment right on the corner.

Maybe *THIS* will be the lucky card -- maybe I'll finally win something!

enjoy
