Another TWO-FER!!!

Truly Scrumptious is a new blog (with challenges) that I found recently.

Also, you probably remember that I tried to to be part of the MFT (my favorite things stamp company) Idol contest. I didn't make the top 10, but they are running a sort of 'side' contest for those of us who didn't make it. While we do get to have the fun of being the judges - just like America on American Idol... it is also fun to continue to participate.

Anyhow! Truly scrumptious put out this cute sketch. The image from MFT that I had was not going to fit the circle spot. So I decided to switch and put 4 circles and 1 square on the card. TS also had the "requirement" of getting some buttons on the page. Hand/home-made buttons. As you can guess... I made the circles into buttons! I put a line around the outside, and cut holes in the middle. I also used some floss to tie knots in them. I also went with a "funny" sentiment...

The MFT Idol Judges' contest was supposed to be in celebration of not making the top 10. I couldn't quite get a feeling of relief or anything when I didn't make the cut, so I kind of made mine more of an encouragement type card.

So... I went rather simple on this one, but I think it turned out (forgive the pun) cute as a button.
