I decided to flip this card horizontal because my WOJ image of Matthew lying down was so long. Then I realized the three little boxes were on the wrong side... wouldn't want to cover up the little guy's face! So I moved that element to the right side of the card. When I first saw this stamp, I thought, he could be laying there thinking about all sorts of things. He could be thinking about birthdays, get well, love, just anything. I decided to make him think that someone was having a great birthday.
Copics used: (hair)y21,y08,e31,e33 : (skin)rv21,e21,e00 : (wings)spica gold, spica clear : (pants)b39,b23 : (shirt)e35,e37 : (bandage)e02,yr02,e31
I used little stamps I had in my collection (two from TAC and one from SeeDs) to put inside the little nestie squares to get the design feature like the sketch.
The sentiments I printed out on my computer, and the cute paisley ribbon is from Michael's. Oh, and the papers. The printed birthday paper... it came in a slab I bought (and separated by color/theme) long before I knew it was important to remember what company made which product. Same goes for the blue and brown cardstock.
